Laine Furnishings has
just released Pure, what it describes as an exciting new commercial
upholstery fabric, and the latest addition to the Terratex collection.
The Pure fabric.
Pure
boasts an innovative and contemporary design aesthetic, with a beautiful
colour palette which includes sophisticated neutrals and vibrant brights.
With Pure’s impeccable
environmental credentials, ecologically conscious designers can play a
leading role in protecting the environment. Unlike virgin polyester, Pure
is made from 100 per cent recycled polyester waste that would otherwise
become landfill. Reusing spent polyester creates less greenhouse gases,
and of course Pure itself is recyclable. In addition, Pure comes with a 10
year warranty which means that designers and specifiers can be confident
of its durability.
Terratex fabrics are a
breakthrough in the production of environmentally sustainable earth
friendly textiles. Terratex has saved over 280 million litres of water and
an amount of energy equal to 484,150 barrels of oil, roughly the amount of
oil it takes to heat 22,382 homes for one year. Terratex is also the only
environmentally friendly fabric collection that can produce scientific
evidence of unparalleled environmental improvement.
Tai Chi.
The release of
Pure comes close on the heels of another product
released
by Laine, Tai Chi. Laine describes this as an elegant and sophisticated
woven jacquard fabric, with a lustrous tone-on-tone colour effect and a
beautiful handle. Tai Chi comes in eight colours, ranging from
contemporary neutrals to irrepressible brights inspired by international
colour forecast trends. Tai Chi also co-ordinates wonderfully with other
new ranges in Laine Furnishings’ textiles collection.
Tai Chi is wool rich and achieves a Heavy Duty Commercial upholstery
classification as per CTA (Commercial Textile Association of Australia &
New Zealand) standards. It is ideal for upholstery and screen applications
including clubs, reception areas, visitor chairs, task and executive
seating and is available ex stock at a highly competitive price point.
