Glass/Fibreglass Furniture
Glass furniture is a part of modern furniture, though its origin
can be traced back to as early as 1350 A.D. Glass furniture
imparts a sense of delicacy and character to the furniture.
Fibreglass, on the other hand, is a composite material made of
fine glass fibres woven into a cloth. It is then bonded together
with a synthetic plastic or resin. It was developed in the late
1940s. Fibreglass furniture is not only good to look at but is
also highly durable. The greatest advantage of using fibreglass
furniture is its strength and stiffness combined with its
lightness.
